NEGOTIATIONS are continuing on Nooroomba Feedlot, Maidenwell, which went to auction in Toowoomba this morning.

The 5350 standard cattle units (SCU) feedlot is located on the 337-hectare (831 acre) property located 7km from Maidenvale and about 100km from both Toowoomba and Dalby. There is said to be an approved licence to expand the feedlot to 9000 SCU.
Nooroomba is made up of two freehold titles and is described as having dark brown to black scrub soils and deeper alluvial flats along the valley. The country is grassed with Rhodes, creeping blue, and Queensland blue grass.
Water is supplied from bores, a creek licence, and dams.
Other improvements include a five bedroom home, silo complex, office, sheds and a mixer.
