The Seasonal Work Incentives Trial encourages unemployed people to take up short term seasonal work opportunities in the horticultural industry to help address the seasonal labour demands of horticultural growers.
The Department of Employment provided information sessions about the Trial between May to July 2017. The same information sessions are now being delivered between September to October 2017 in new locations.
These locations have been selected based on areas of high harvest and feedback received from horticultural peak and regional bodies and growers. For your information we have attached a full schedule of where information sessions are being held.
New dates include: Townsville October 9 from 2.30pm to 3.30pm at Mercure, Ingham October 10, Ayr October 11 and Bowen October 12.
