Oakvale Square Meaters snared a double champion win at this year's competition, with their 14-month-old bull called Oakvale Real Time and their senior cow and calf Oakvale Never Enough.
This is the second time that stud principals Gary and Heather Sewell, Oakvale Square Meaters, Wondai, have exhibited cattle at Beef Australia.
The Sewells have been with the breed for 20 years and were very happy with the competition result.
"I was very happy with the judge's comments because one of the heifers is a real doer and I felt she was a little fat and he said the same thing," Mr Sewell said.
"All of the animals we exhibited at Beef were all sired by Oakvale Leroy Brown and the calf on the cow was actually by Oakvale Man-o-man who was the 2018 Beef grand champion bull.
"We hope that people can see their carcase traits for that local domestic trade."

Judge Grame Hopf, Murwillumbah, NSW, said the Square Meaters exhibited at this year's event were certainly leading the breed in Australia at the moment.
"The Square Meaters here today have a little more natural thickness throughout, combined with very good structural soundness," Mr Hopf said.
"The champion breeders have certainly set out to put maximum amount of muscle on a smaller frame."
