PLANTS are in the ground and preparations are underway for the 2024 Lockyer Valley Growers Expo next month.
The event will take place at the Gatton Research Facility, Gatton, Queensland, over two days, Friday and Saturday, June 14 and 15.
Gates will be open from 9am to 4pm with vegetable variety demonstrations on display, as well as machinery displays, plus industry and technology exhibitions.
The event, hosted by Lockyer Valley Growers, was last held in 2021 where hundreds of visitors went through the site.
Attendees will have the chance to speak with leading vegetable industry supply-chain experts.
General admission is $20 per day or $30 for a two-day pass.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase and on-site parking is also an option.
On the Friday, a marquee on the site will host the expo dinner from 5.30pm, featuring a specially prepared dinner menu, a band and entertainment from well-known comedian, Jimeoin.
